On 13 May 2024, Technopark, Kerala’s premier IT park, hosted the first batch of 59 officer trainees from the Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD).
These probationers, enrolled in the 2nd Foundation Course, are embarking on a week-long exposure visit to Kerala to gain firsthand experience of the state’s flourishing IT ecosystem. Technopark served as their first stop, providing an insightful look at India's first IT park and its operations.
Interaction with the Technopark CEO
The officer trainees had the privilege of interacting with Col. Sanjeev Nair (Retd), CEO of Technopark. He delivered a comprehensive presentation detailing Kerala’s thriving IT sector. Highlighting the importance of this visit for the probationers, Col. Nair emphasized Kerala’s pioneering role in social sector transformation, achieved through a robust digital infrastructure. He further reiterated Kerala’s commitment to knowledge sharing, societal change, and technological advancements.
Technopark’s Legacy and Vision
Delving into Technopark's remarkable growth trajectory, Col. Nair underscored its position as both a state’s pride and a national asset. He emphasized the organization’s unwavering focus on client satisfaction, ensuring a seamless business environment in Kerala.
He explained that Kerala’s IT/ITeS ecosystem thrives on a unique blend of infrastructure, a verdant environment, and cutting-edge technology. He pointed out that the human element remains at the forefront, driving overall growth within the state. Responding to a query, he iterated that IT parks in Kerala operate as self-sustainable entities with crucial government support.
Collaboration for the Future
BIPARD offers training to various service probationers, including Indian Administrative Services (IAS) and Bihar Administrative Services (BAS). This visit marks the beginning of a series, with seven batches slated to visit various Kerala IT organizations over the coming weeks.
